Great book to get started in Rum. Great description and details for anyone to understand.
I was hoping for a little more, but might be good for someone with very little distilling experience.
Lots of great info, good value. The sections on using reflux were really helpful. Recommend for anyone looking for next level DIY.
Good book
Exactly what I was looking for! Information is clearly explained without going into huge detail. Author has created an excellent guide and I hope he writes more on making other liquors, I would buy them all. Thank you for such an easy to use but expert book.
Easy to follow guide.
The instructions and information are clearly presented. I like the insightful nature of the suggestions, implies that the author knows what he is talking about and has a decent amount of experience.
I look forward to a follow up for other spirits and when using more high end equipment.
This has got to be the flimsiest piece of crap I have ever purchased on the topic of distilling!
At less than a whole 1/8" thick pamphlets 34 pages in length the actual text begining on page 5.
Has a lot of large photos showing only very basic concepts without any details.
No true how to instructions are provided.. I could write this in my sleep & I have little experience making Rum... (I did it once).
No mash recipes are provided although it does say not to exceed 75F during fermentation.
No temperatures are provided regarding when to cut heads, hearts, tails.
Hardly any info provided on stills.
It does speak on what happens if your sugar content is too high or too low however gives no recipe nor how to correct for improper sugar in mash.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY!
THIS will be returned to AMAZON on Monday for a refund!
